We had agreed the I would buy all the groceries and he would pay for out dates out but we don't really go out much anymore and when we do I feel like I can't ask for certain things because it's "his" money. After fighting about it he did fix some of the broken items but he did a really bad job of it.
He let it pee all over the place, chew up the dry wall and scratch up the doors. He had a dog briefly that we rehomed to his parents. I realize he is just a dirty room mate type. When he does wash his clothes, they sit crumpled up in the basket while he slowly uses them, all the while the dirty clothes, having no basket, pile up on the floor of the closet. And he will wash his clothes, but askes me to do it half the time. For the most part he with take turns cooking dinner with me. He doesn't mop, clean bathrooms, sweep, take out the trash or vacuum. He also pays the internet bill, I pay all other bills. He pays 600$ pre month to live with me, that is less then half of my morgage. My (35/f) bf (27/m) of over a year lives with me and my two kids.
